AS 9100
The AS/EN 9 100 series of standards are
based on ISO 9 001, and expand and supplement its requirements with the special
requirements of the aerospace industry.
The AS/EN 9 100 aerospace standard contains
a total of 83 requirements that go beyond the ISO 9001 framework.
These requirements can be divided into two
basic categories:
- elaboration of the general requirements of ISO 9 001
- expanding the requirements of ISO 9 001 in the areas of
delivery promptness, quality and reliability
It is irrespective of whether your company
is involved in manufacturing, maintenance, or simply does business in the
aerospace industry.
